Research interests: Mobile technology, Telehealth technology, Omaha System (standardized nursing coding), stress reduction management using Bioinformatics, keys to nursing student success, concept-based learning curriculum, health benefits of journaling within simulation and simulation programing.
Professional experiences include: Perioperative Nurse, Clinical Nurse Educator, and RN-BSN Coordinator. Dr. DeBlieck led a team of faculty in the implementation of Nursing Simulation across the curriculum and the introduction of an academic electronic medical record system. She managed the Simulation and Skills lab. She is the co-developer of the “Student Success Keeper” a mobile app which assists students in monitoring study and health habits.
