Research interests: Adult and Family Practice/Nursing Education
Professional experiences include: Dr. Kuchler has worked as a clinician with the Community Wellness Program providing primary care at multiple underserved cites in southern New Mexico. She also teaches nursing full-time at New Mexico State University and works at a local urgent care clinic. Within the Community Wellness Program, Elizabeth has provided Hepatitis C treatment, Primary Care, Women’s Health, Pediatric Care, and education to the homeless, documented and undocumented, adolescent, uninsured/underinsured and correctional populations in the New Mexico Department of Health Southwest Region.
Elizabeth received her Doctoral degree from New Mexico State University. She received her Master’s in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Saint Francis University, Joliett Il.
She provides Hepatitis C care in partnership with the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) Program at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque via tele-medicine for over eight years.
