Shelly Noe

Research interests: Dr. Noe’s  research interests include Addictions and Chemical Dependency; Buprenorphine Treatment; Maternal Depression; Geropsychiatry.

Professional experiences include: Dr. Noe joined the faculty in the College of Health and Social Services, School of Nursing in January 2013. She is an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and currently practices in a private office, specializing in dual diagnoses. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice at New Mexico State University. Prior to her career in academia, she was a Nurse Practitioner in the New Mexico Department of Health, Public Health Division, faculty at Dona Ana Community College in the ADN Program in New Mexico, Coordinator of a Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) program, a Psychiatric Nurse, and Case Manager/Peer Review Coordinator.
