Professional Experience: Ms. Stanton started at NMSU in 2010 as a part-time faculty and has since 2014 held a full-time teaching position. Her teaching experiences include University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) as a clinical faculty and El Paso Community College (EPCC), which included theory, as well as clinical instruction. She has spent more than 25 years of bedside nursing mostly in critical care, specializing in cardiac surgery and a variety of cardiac procedures.
She graduated with BSN from the Philippines, MSN from University of Phoenix, and currently working to finish PhD in Nursing Science at NMSU.
Ms. Stanton is a professional member of the American Nurses’ Association (ANA) and the Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She holds Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification (CCRN), also from AACN.
