Woodi Wooding Tapley, MSN, RN, ACNP,CCRN, PHN

WTapleySpecial Interest and Research: Ms. Wooding Tapley has wide professional medical background that includes being an EMT/Paramedic, serving on her County Board of Health as vice chairwoman and chairwoman, working in critical care and emergency nursing, and organ donation and procurement. She was a principle in a research project that paired nursing students and pharmacy students in simulation for inter-professional education. She received her BSN and MSN – as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Wichita State University.

Professional Experience: Ms. Wooding Tapley has more than 40 years experience in medicine ranging from being a paramedic to becoming a nurse and nurse practitioner in critical care. She has been involved in education for more than 20 years as a critical care educator and working in healthcare simulation.

She is a member of American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
