Elizabeth Hendricks is a Northeast Ohio transplant where she has trained for 11 years in a 1032 bed Magnet hospital specializing in cardiac coronary care. In 2018 Elizabeth joined the Las Cruces community. Shortly after that, she earned her master's degree in Nursing Education and coordinated Southern New Mexico's first accredited RN residency program at a local hospital two years later.

Clinically, Elizabeth brings expertise in cardiology, including telemetry, cardiovascular catheterization procedures, bedside cardioversion, and electrophysiology. During the winter of 2020, Elizabeth was part of a COVID-19 multidisciplinary team that vaccinated over 20,000 people (about the seating capacity of Madison Square Garden). Her pedagogy includes assessing her student's learning styles to coach them in customized study strategies that can lead them to academic success. She also brings a personal understanding of nontraditional student need and considers their access to resources as she mentors them. Elizabeth is also trained in trauma-informed care.
