Our dynamic undergraduate and graduate programs provide a wide variety of options for the beginning and advanced nursing student. Over the past 10 years, our programs have expanded and changed to offer more degree plans in both the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as the delivery of many of our courses now fully online. Our geographical location along the United States Mexico Border provides all students with outstanding clinical experiences-acute care and community based.

NMSU’s Roadrunner Program offers a unique career path to nursing

 

The NMSU School of Nursing has a program designed to help individuals shift careers while addressing New Mexico’s critical nursing shortage. The Roadrunner Program is an accelerated bachelor’s degree track in nursing tailored specifically for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field. Unlike the traditional B.S.N. path, which typically requires 13 prerequisite courses and four years of study, Roadrunner students complete four to five prerequisites and finish the program in just 19 months.
