Lauren Linton, MSN, RN, is one of the newest faculty members at New Mexico State University's School of Nursing. With over thirteen years of professional nursing experience in maternal–newborn care, she brings real-world expertise to her teaching. In 2024, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from The University of Texas at El Paso, where she refined her skills in clinical instruction and evidence-based teaching strategies.

At NMSU, Lauren teaches and mentors undergraduate nursing students in levels 1–3, dedicating herself to helping them become competent, confident, and compassionate nurses. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and patient-centered care, with a focus on being the best educator she can be for her students.
