Professor Stone has had a diverse career in healthcare, education and leadership. Professor Stone is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. During her military career, she had been a clinical program director for anesthesia nursing in bothe the United States Army and Air Force. She has extensive experience in leadership positions from being chief of anesthesia services to being chief of medical operations. Her experience in both civilian and military; rural and metropolitan; and team and solo anesthesia practice in the healthcare setting has given her an unique skill set that is valuable to nurse anesthesiology graduate students.
