Professor Davidson completed her Masters in Nursing Education at University of New Mexico in 2018. She had practiced adult critical care for 35 years at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso. She held a variety of roles there including charge nurse, preceptor, Clinical Coordinator and assistant director. She received the Deans Teaching Excellence award and has been nominated for nurse of the year (at PMH) and The Daisy award. Sharon used her clinical experience and work in family dynamics in critical care to present a Poster at a national conference. Her heart remains at the bedside. She has been teaching Undergraduate nursing at NMSU since 2018.
